ABOUT US

Josh joined the staff in 2017 and is the son of Susan Braswell and Tim Burke. Josh is also the grandson of the late Garland Skipper. He is married to Tamara Burke and they have two little girls named Addly and Everly. Josh is a 2010 graduate of Seminole County High School as well as a 2021 graduate of the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service where he received his associates degree in mortuary science as well as being a member of the National Funeral Honor Society. Josh loves his family and spending time in outdoors and helping anyone in need in the community. Being able to serve families is more than a job it is a calling and an honor to be there for the families we serve. 

Susan is the daughter of the late Garland Skipper who was so instrumental in the success of this funeral establishment. She is the wife of Jeff Braswell and they have 4 children, Josh Burke and wife Tamara, Dean Burke, Brandon Josey and wife Alli, and Emily Braswell.  They are also the proud grandparents of Addly, Everly, Braden, Trace and Katy.  Susan has been with the Funeral Home since 2001. She is a member of First Baptist Church where she and Jeff serve on several committees and Jeff leads the Praise Band. She has lived in Donalsonville all of her life and is always willing to help in the community anyway she can.
