Wylene Moseley, age 74, of Jakin, GA, passed away Sunday morning, January 19, 2025, at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Friendship Memorial Gardens with Rev. Daniel McFather officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer c/o Jan Taylor, 200 W. 10th Street, Donalsonville, GA 39845.
Mrs. Moseley was born in Donalsonville, GA on March 7, 1950, to Leon Eugene Cowart and Lucille Danford Cowart. She worked as an office nurse for Dr. Charles O. Walker until her retirement. Mrs. Moseley was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Cedar Springs, GA and enjoyed playing softball, going fishing, and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren more than anything.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, John Moseley of Jakin, GA; her children, David Moseley and wife Carrie of Leary, GA and Amanda Nowell and husband Ryan of Jakin, GA; her grandchildren, Tripp Moseley, Brook Lingo and husband Dustin, and Garand Nowell; as well as great grandchildren, Hunter Angelino and Wyatt Angelino. Numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly also survive.
Mrs. Moseley was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Eugene Cowart and Lucille Danford Cowart and her siblings, Irene Symonds, Christine Smith, Daphine Spence, and Eugene "Buddy" Cowart.
