WILTON "RAY" GEORGE

Wilton Ray George, age 72, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday morning, July 21, 2021 at his residence. The memorial service that was originally scheduled for Mr. George has been canceled due to a recent COVID issue. The family has made this decision in order to protect family and friends who would be attending. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Ray's memory to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer 200 West 10th Street Donalsonville, GA 39845 or the First Church of the Nazarene PO Box 446 Donalsonville, GA 39845. Mr. George was born in Donalsonville, GA on March 20, 1949 to William Russell George and Elizabeth Moates George. He was a groundskeeper for golf courses. Mr. George was an avid fan of stock car racing, the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and the Georgia Bulldogs. Hunting and fishing were high on his list of activities that he enjoyed. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, William Lamar George and Mary Elizabeth George Castro; his sister Brenda Horne; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. George was preceded in death by his parents, William Russell George and Elizabeth Moates George, as well as his siblings, Kenneth George, Pat Erickson, June Buckhaulter, and Lucille Horn.
