WILLIAM HERBERT "BILLIE" WILLIAMS

William Herbert “Billie” Williams, age 87, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough and Clay Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in Primitive Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday evening, August 6, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born in Colquitt, GA on April 30, 1931 to Charlie Williams and Abby Kelley Williams.  He was a tool maker/plant manager for LaGrange Moulding.  Mr. Williams enjoyed gardening, landscaping and was a member of the optimist club and a member of the First Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Greg Williams and his wife Debbie, Steve Williams and his wife Tammy, Bill Williams and his wife Jenny, Vic Williams and his wife Debra, Karen Terry and her husband Tony; his brother, Gene Williams and his wife Hazell; his sister, Ginny Lee and her husband Johnny; his grandchildren, Kevin Grondahl and his wife Jill, Amy Tripi and Trevor Simpson, Jason Williams, April Williams, Clay Williams and his wife Sarah, Matthew Williams and his wife Casey, Forest Williams, Grayson Williams, Abby Williams, Alexanderia William, Arabi Williams, Ayden Williams, Michaela Sparks, and Renee McBride; his great grandchildren, Emily Grondahl, Penelope Simpson, Anson Simpson, Haddon Williams, John Williams, Wesley Williams, Alivia Williams, Eden Williams, Colby McBride, and Alyssa McBride; his brother-in-law, Alvin Grantham; his cousin, Max Kelley and his wife Jenell; and a very special friend and caretaker Marilyn. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Webb Williams; a daughter, Becky Moody; a sister, Joyce Grantham; and a grandson, Alden Williams.
