WILLIAM WESLEY WILKINSON

William Wesley Wilkinson, age 90, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 1, 2022, at Pioneer Health and Rehab in Byronville, GA. Graveside services for Mr. Wilkinson will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Steven Norris officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service. Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association PO Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011. Mr. Wilkinson was born in Jackson County, FL on July 17, 1932, to Leander Wilkinson and Opie Odelle Simmons Wilkinson. He served his country in the United States Army and before retiring worked as an electrician with APG Electric. Mr. Wilkinson was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Robert Wilkinson and wife Patsy and Edward Wilkinson and wife Naomi; his son-in-law, Daniel DiNapoli; his brother, Rufus Wilkinson; and his sister, Janice Strickland and husband Jimmy. Also surviving are his grandchildren, John Rutledge, Michael Wilkinson and Amy, Lucas Wilkinson, Leah Woodell and Dustin, Montina DiNapoli, and Dalton Wilkinson; his great grandchildren, Jake and Evan Wilkinson, Clint and Camryn Woodell, Jacob Hulsey, Issac DiNapoli, and Adrianna DiNapoli; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wilkinson was preceded in death by his parents, Leander Wilkinson and Opie Odelle Simmons Wilkinson; his wife, Shirley Sapp Wilkinson; two brothers, Cecil Wilkinson and Johnny Wilkinson; a son, David Wilkinson; his daughter, Teresa DiNapoli; and a grandson, Charles DiNapoli.
