VIRGINIA MCMULLEN FRITH

Virginia McMullen Frith, age 81, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday morning, July 18, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Frith will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Springfield Baptist Church in Jakin, GA with Rev. Robert Johns officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening, July 20, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. We recommend that masks be worn and ask that social distancing be followed. Mrs. Frith was born in Jakin, GA on October 22, 1938 to Buddy and Myrtice Cannon McMullen. She was a homemaker and member of Springfield Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. Mrs. Frith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Charles Frith of Donalsonville, GA; her daughters, Debbie Hughes and husband Rodney of Jakin, GA, Donna Kirkland of Donalsonville, GA, and Denese Davis and husband Cliff of Seale, AL; her sons, Johnny Ray Shirley and Krista of Jakin, GA and Alan Frith and wife Stacy of Jakin, GA; and her siblings, Hilda Phillips and husband Wayne of Donalsonville, GA, Jimmy McMullen and wife JoAnn of Dalton, GA, Tommy McMullen and wife Beverly of Dalton, GA, Linda Gee and husband Reed of Dalton, GA, Diane Tester and husband Bob of Dalton, GA, and Johnny McMullen and wife Sherrie of Dothan, AL. Mrs. Frith is also survived by her grandchildren, Shawn Kirkland (Jessica), MacKenzie Hattaway (Jack), Farran Kirkland (Jeremy), Kaitlyn Courts (Coati), Guthrie Milton, Kenna Shirley, Kerra Shirley, Hannah Milton, and Madison Frith, and her great grandchildren, Kinsley Kirkland, Landon Kirkland, Holden Hicks, Cannon Buckhaulter, and Jade Hattaway; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Frith was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Myrtice Cannon McMullen; her grandparents, Irene and Joe Cannon; her sister, Sara Helms; and her brother, Roy McMullen.
