SUSAN WHITE BAILEY

Susan White Bailey, age 69, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday evening, January 20, 2025, at her residence.

Services for Ms. Bailey will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Daughtry officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA with Logan Jones, Hunter Jones, Cason Hall, Camryn Priest, Kade Smith, and Eric Ochoa serving as active pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 276 Mt Olive Church Road, Bainbridge, GA 39817.  

Ms. Bailey was born in Bainbridge, GA, on August 23, 1955, to John White and Emma Cox White.  She was a 1973 graduate of Bainbridge High School and received an Associates Degree from Bainbridge College.  Before retiring, she worked for a number of years as a secretary at Amoco Fabrics and Fiber.  Ms. Bailey enjoyed the beach, traveling, and music.  While she was a free spirit, Ms. Bailey was also a devoted and hardworking mother.  She was a Godly woman, who ran a Godly household, and was completely dedicated to her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Cara Smith and Scott of Donalsonville, GA, Alicia Olds of Cairo, GA, and Adrian Bailey of Bainbridge, GA; and her siblings, Kenneth White and Janie of Eufaula, AL, Kay White of Thomasville, GA, and Charles White of Bainbridge, GA.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Logan Jones and Tyler, Hunter Jones and Megan, Olivia McIntyre and Eric Ochoa, Cason Hall, and Camryn Priest; her great grandchildren, Emma Jones, Emerson Jones, Nash Jones, and Lynlee Jones; and her nephew, Brian White.

Ms. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, John White and Emma Cox White, as well as her niece, Tracy White.
