STEPHEN EMMETT HOUSTON, III

Thursday afternoon, December 5th, 2024, God decided it was time to call home the best little farm boy he ever made. He must have a lot of fields up in Heaven which need to be tended to with the best of care! Our precious and beautiful Little Emmett was given to us for five sweet years and my how they flew by so fast! He had a deep love for his brothers, Sissy, mother and father and other family and friends. Tractors, trains, and dinosaurs were a few of his most favorite things, and he thoroughly enjoyed school. Nobody has any idea what they will do without him, but everyone is certain Jesus has a plan. 

 Celebration of Life Services for Little Emmett will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Michael Wingertsahn and Rev. John Woodrum officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church.

 Stephen Emmett Houston, III, was born December 2, 2019, in Donalsonville, GA, to Stephen Emmett Houston, Jr. and Valdirene Da Silva Souza Houston. He was an excellent little farm boy, a child of Jesus, and he loved church. Emmett was awarded by God the best little boy ever created.

 He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Stephen Emmett Houston, Jr. and Valdirene S. Houston of Donalsonville, GA; his brothers, Stephen Billy Houston and Benjamin George Houston of Donalsonville, GA; his sister, Sierra Houston of Donalsonville, GA; his paternal grandparents, Steve Houston and his wife Ramona of Donalsonville, GA and Sheila Williams and her husband Richard of Donalsonville, GA; as well as his maternal grandparents, Devanira Batista Da Silva Souza of Brazil/Curitiba-PR and Antonio Avelind De Souza Neto of Brazil/Juaipora-PR. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 Emmett was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Billy and Dorothy Houston and Leroy and Melba Durden.
