Sharon Denise Alday, age 54, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Monday evening, November 2, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Alday will be held on Thursday afternoon, November 5, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. Interment will be held at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Trent Batchelor, Keith Alday, Tony Johnson, Kenny King, Ricky Alday, Robin (Wino) Faircloth and Anthony Merkerson serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, November 4, 2020 from 6-8 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Alday was born on October 20, 1966 in Donalsonville, GA to Johnny Buie and Linda Alday. She was a homemaker and loved her family with all her heart. She especially loved spending time with all her grandchildren. Mrs. Alday was of the Baptist faith and a devoted member to Spring Creek Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Curtis Alday, of Donalsonville, GA her daughters; Christine Nelson (Jeffery) of Donalsonville, Tiffany Alday of Ohio, and Cynamin Owens of Wakulla County, FL, a brother; Rodney Underwood (Tori) of Decatur, GA, and a sister, Tina Owens of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Kolten, Allie, Cailey, Levi, Mia, and Jaxon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her biological father, Johnny Buie. Mrs. Alday was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Kuffrey as well as her adoptive father, James Lee Ridenour. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
