SCOTTY STUART PITTS

Scotty Stuart Pitts, age 57, of Iron City, GA passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Burial will follow at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens in Colquitt, GA with Randal Padgett, Bobby Crossman, Luke Cook, Chance Cook, Ronnie Adams and Stevie Adams serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Pitts was born in Donalsonville, GA on October 26, 1964 to Woodrow Pitts and Mittie Phillips Pitts. He worked as a mechanic and loved working. He truly loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Donna Cox Pitts; his daughter, Pamela Pitts; his son, Scotty Pitts, Jr. (Haley); his stepson Leeland Chandler (Kimberly); his mother, Mittie Pitts; and his brother, Durall Pitts (Gina). He is also survived by four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pitts was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Pitts.
