SARAH GIPSON

Sarah Jane Taylor Gipson, age 59, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday evening, December 16, 2023, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA.

No public services are being planned at this time.

Mrs. Gipson was born in Phenix City, AL on July 28, 1964, to James Arthur Taylor and Elizabeth Singleton Taylor.  She was a homemaker and loved her family.  Mrs. Taylor was especially involved in her grandchildren’s lives and activities.  She was devoted to her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Thomas “Pete” Gipson of Donalsonville, GA; her children, Robert “Andy” Gipson and Amanda, Jonathan “Eddie” Gipson and Amber, and Teara Phillips all of Donalsonville, GA; her brother, Johnny Taylor and Bonnie of Jakin, GA; and her sisters, Teresa Taylor and Joey of Vada, GA, and Paula Roberts of Donalsonville, GA.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Layla Gipson, Makenzie Gipson, Aiden Gipson, Isabella Gipson, Ethan Lash,and Miley Wimberly; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Gipson was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Elizabeth Singleton Taylor and a brother, James Taylor.
