SANFORD HILL

Sanford Azel Hill, age 88, of Jakin, GA passed away Saturday morning, June 27, 2020 at his residence. Visitation for Mr. Hill will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. The family will have a private burial with Gerald Buntyn, Jason Varnum, Brandan Howard, Austin McLain, and Thomas Torres serving as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Hill was born in Jakin, GA on October 04, 1931 to Jackson and Louise Rowe Hill. He was a retired farmer and member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Dothan, AL. Mr. Hill was passionate about gardening and collecting arrowheads. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Harvaleen Colgan (Ray), Nichole Perez, and Charity Howard (Brandan) all of Jakin, GA; his stepdaughters, Diane Buntyn (Gerald) of Dothan, AL and Debbie Hostetter (Dwight) of Chelsea, AL; and his brothers, Joe Hill of Demoplis, AL and Ivey Hill (Betty) of Tallahassee, FL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson Hill and Louise Rowe Hill; his wives, Edna Hill and Margie Hill; a brother, Garland Hill; a sister, Vivian Lisenby; and a grandson, Colton Perez.
