Ruby Nell Gordon

Ruby Nell Moates Gordon, age 79, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday morning, August 7, 2021 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gordon Cemetery in Colquitt, GA with Rev. Tony Mock officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Mrs. Gordon was born in Pansey, AL on April 25, 1942 to Rueben Moates and Rosie McCarley Moates. She was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Ray Gordon (Beth) of Donalsonville, GA, Allen Gordon of Donalsonville, GA, Becky Ilam (Mike) of Cleveland, GA, Michael Gordon of Cleveland, GA and Donald Gordon of Cleveland, GA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben Moates and Rosie McCarley Moates; her husband, James Gordon; her son, Ronald Gordon; her brothers, Roy Moates and James Moates; and her sister, Louise Bass. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
