Ronnie Neal Creel, age 72, of Jakin, GA passed away Thursday evening, March 25, 2021 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Graveside services for Mr. Creel will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Jakin Cemetery with Rev. Cory Thomas officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service with Trent Harrison, Jeff Ivey, McCraven Bush, Quinn Bush, Jerry Pearce, and Shelly McCorkle serving as pallbearers. Mr. Creel was born in Donalsonville, GA on Dec. 18, 1948 to William Sanford and Agnes Irene Burgess Creel. He served his country in the United States Army and was self-employed as a diesel mechanic. Mr. Creel was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Frances Creel of Jakin, GA; his children, Patrick Creel of Donalsonville, GA, Bridgett Wimberly and her husband Donald of Ashburn, GA, and Kimberly Creel of Bainbridge, GA; his stepson, Eric Johnson and his wife Kelly of Richmond Hill, GA; two sisters, Beb Pritchett of Jakin, GA and June Parker and her husband Fred of Donalsonville, GA; and a brother, Johnny Creel of Jakin, GA. Eight grandchildren, Emma Claire Creel, Tamara Burke, Josh Burke, Olivia Creel, Kathryn Johnson, and Emily Johnson, Christopher Wimberly and his wife Jenna, and Daniel Wimberly and his wife Brandy; as well as his great grandchildren, Autumn Tyson, Gavin Burke, Robin Burke, Lily Cravey, Logan Wimberly, Karly Wimberly, Avery Wimberly, Kady Wimberly, Karson Wimberly, and Khloe Wimberly; and many nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Creel was preceded in death by his parents, William Sanford and Agnes Irene Burgess Creel; a brother, Paul Creel; and a sister, Hilda Bush. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
