Raymond Glenn Jones, Sr.

Raymond Glenn Jones, Sr., age 63, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday evening, May 17, 2020 at his residence. The family will hold a private graveside service. Mr. Jones was born in Royston, GA on September 25, 1956 to Billy Jones and Wilma Odom Jones. Raymond owned and operated Ray’s Gates in Iron City, GA for several years and was very well known for his welding ability. You could find Raymond on the water fishing for a big ole bass. He loved his family, but his pride and joy were his two grandsons; Jackson and Jhett. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda Jones of Donalsonville, GA; his son, Buck Jones (Whitney) of Iron City ,GA; his grandchildren, Jackson and Jhett Jones; his brother, Bubba Jones of Attapulgus, GA; and his step mother, Mrs. Nellie Jo Jones of Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Jones and Wilma Odom Jones and his sister, Carol Jones Culverson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
