PAULA COBB SHINGLER

Paula Cobb Shingler, age 73, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Monday evening, December 25, 2023, at her residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. James Scarborough officiating.  Interment will follow after the service.  The family will receive friends at the graveside, one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM.

Mrs.Shingler was born in Dothan, AL on July 20, 1950, to Archie and Pauline Kirkland Cobb.  She was a homemaker and loved gardening and being out in the yard working amongst her flowers.  Fishing was another pastime that she greatly loved and enjoyed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ted Shingler of Donalsonville, GA; her children, Douglas Alexander and wife Rose of Donalsonville, GA and Dana Isler and husband Michael of Donalsonville, GA; three brothers, James Cobb of Slocomb, AL, Terry Cobb and wife Debbie of Webb, AL, and Mike Cobb of Eufaula, AL.  Her grandchildren, Heather Lietzan, Samantha Lietzan, Joanna Harrison, Glenn Caber, Arlen Caber, Paul Alexander, and Manuel Alexander, as well as numerous nephews and nieces also survive.

Mrs. Shingler was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Pauline Kirkland Cobb; two sisters, Ruby Creamer and Maxine Pybus; and two brothers, Joe Cobb and Larry Cobb.
