Oscar Thomas "Cigar" Brown

Mr. Oscar Thomas “Cigar” Brown, age 68, passed away on December 24, 2022 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Spicer officiating. Mr. Brown was born in Donalsonville, GA on September 7, 1954, to Ellie Brown and Vera Saunders Brown. Mr. Brown worked for the Seminole County Road Department. He loved wood working, fishing, hunting, but mostly playing with his grandchildren. Anytime you would see him he always had a cigar also. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lisa Faircloth Brown of Donalsonville, his children, Heather Pollock (Nick), Todd Brown (Jessica), Peyton Pollock, Layton Pollock, Tommy Pollock and Ayana Murkerson (Destin Mann) all of Donalsonville, GA; his sisters, Doris Williams (James) of Columbus, GA, Margret Ray (Glenn) of Opelika, AL and Nellie Branton (Bobby) of Donalsonville, GA; his grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Ryan Brown, Chris Murkerson all of Donalsonville, GA, Josh Kilpatrick of Iron City, GA, Brooklyn Pollock, Alex Pollock and Shane Pollock all of Smithsville, GA; and his great granddaughter, Kyndall Murkerson of Donalsonville, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer Brown and Jerry Brown; his sister, Ruth Rhodes; and a niece, Marie Rhodes.
