MORGAN CUMBIE CHAMBLESS

Morgan Cumbie Chambless, age 27, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.

A memorial visitation and service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Bradley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be given to help with funeral and medical expenses.

Mrs. Chambless was born in Thomasville, GA on October 25, 1995, to Wesley and Lisa Neel Cumbie.  She was a LPN at Miller County Hospital and a member of Lake Seminole Baptist Church.  Morgan loved the beach and watching “The Little Mermaid”.  Family traditions, canning, and painting were among some of her favorite things.  She was a caring, loving, and devoted wife to Arin, as well as a loving and devoted mother to Carson.  Morgan always put others first and she had a huge heart for others.  She was well loved by everyone who knew her, and her absence will leave a big hole in everyone’s lives.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Arin Chambless; her son, Carson Chambless; her parents, Wesley and Lisa Cumbie; and her siblings, Emily Hodge and Dustin, Jacob Cumbie, and Katelyn Strickland.  Also surviving are her father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Diana Chambless; her brothers-in-law, Shaun Chambless and Ashley and Nicholas Chambless and Amanda; her grandmother, Belinda Cumbie; nephews and niece, Tyler Chambless, Oliver Cook, Walker Hodge, and Ava Chambless; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Mrs. Chambless was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rev. Benny Cumbie.
