Martha O'Hearn

Martha Lou Walton O’Hearn, age 79, of Graceville, FL and formerly of Jakin, GA passed away Sunday morning, January 30, 2022 at Signature Healthcare of North Florida in Graceville, FL. Graveside service for Mrs. O’Hearn will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Springfield Baptist Church in Jakin, GA. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Mrs. O’Hearn was born in Baxley, GA on October 10, 1942 to Rev. Robert Lee Walton and Irene Collins Walton. She was a homemaker and loved her family and spending time with them all. She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandson, Blayne O’Hearn (Catlin) of Columbia, AL; her great grandson, Miles O’Hearn of Columbia, AL; and her siblings, JW Walton (Lula Mae) of Clinton SC, Laverne McMickle of Donalsonville, GA, Frankie Broxton of Lakeland, FL, Robert Walton of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Sammy (Connie) Walton of Alma, GA. Mrs. O’Hearn was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Robert Lee Walton and Irene Collins Walton; her husband, Clifford O’Hearn, Jr.; her daughter, Betty O’Hearn; her son, Marty O’Hearn; a sister, Mary Caraway; and a brother, Johnny Walton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
