LUCY MABLE ANDERSON

Lucy Mable Bridges Anderson, age 91, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Lebanon Center for Rehabilitation and Healing, Lebanon, TN.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Graveside interment at Friendship Memorial Gardens will be private with only family attending. Visitation for Mrs. Anderson will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

 Lucy was born in Damascus, GA on Nov. 23, 1932, to George Bridges and Lucy Mable McNair Bridges. She was a high school graduate and member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA.

 She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Kenneth Batchelor and his wife Vicki; her granddaughters, Gabrielle Fletcher and her husband John and Elizabeth Hopkins and her husband Ross; as well as her great granddaughters, Willow Fletcher and Dawn Hopkins and great grandson, Dixon Fletcher. Also surviving are her sister, Sue Goldforb and husband Goldie and her brothers, William Bridges and wife Sylvia and Bobby Bridges and wife Helen, along with several nephews and nieces.

 Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mable Bridges; her husband, Andy Anderson; her sisters, Jean Lisenby and Lilly Searles; and her brothers, David Bridges, JR Bridges, Hollis Bridges, and Bill Bridges.
