LLOYD ELTON GEIER, JR.

Lloyd Elton Geier, Jr., age 94, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday morning, June 23, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Geier will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Nate Lehman officiating. Mr. Geier was born on December 12, 1925 in Detroit, MI to Lloyd Elton Geier, Sr. and Jeanine Baynard. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He also earned a master’s degree in engineering and worked at Disney. He was a member of Kissimmee First Baptist Church and served with the Baptist Disaster Relief. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Arlene L. Geier; his son, Bill Geier (Jane); and his daughter, Linda Young (Dennis); his sisters, Sally Holiday and Lorraine Nielsen; his grandchildren, Billy Geier, Sheri Geier Logue, Chris Young, and Heather Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Dean Logue, Ryan Logue, Beckett Young, Colton Kelly, and Jed Kelly. Mr. Geier was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul Geier. Arrangements entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
