LISA JUNE DONALSON

Lisa June Donalson, age 58, of Eatonton, GA, passed away Thursday evening, July 25, 2024, at the home of her daughter in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services for Ms. Donalson will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM EST at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Grimes officiating.  Interment will be held in Mt. Gilead Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Jeffrey Turner, Jesse Hardeman, Brandon Hodges, Skylar Hodges, Rudy Campen, and Randy Gregory serving as active pallbearers.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM EST at the funeral home.

Ms. Donalson was born in Albany, GA on Sept. 14, 1965, to Jim and Linda June Middleton Donalson.  She graduated from Winyah High School in Georgetown, SC in 1983 and worked as a guest services expert with Ritz Carlton Resorts. Ms. Donalson loved her work family as if they were her own and was willing to help them in any situation whether at work or on a personal level.  She loved being on the water and fishing.  She was a phenomenal cook and thoroughly enjoyed cooking especially for her family. Her best times were spent with her partner and favorite child, Skylar Hodges.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Aleshia Turner and husband Jeffrey of Dothan, AL, Brandon Hodges and wife Cari of Baytown, TX, Skylar Hodges of Eatonton, GA, and Makayla Hardeman and husband Jesse of Eastman, GA; her brother, Keith Donalson and wife Tiffany of Dale, Indiana; and stepfather, Clarence Jones of Donalsonville, GA.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Skyla Turner, Ember Turner, Canyon Turner, Trevor Laird, Brycen Hodges, Trace Hodges, Cohen Hodges, Adelynn Hardeman, and Sawyer Hardeman.

Ms. Donalson was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Donalson and Linda June Middleton Jones.
