Linda Whittaker Wilson( October 04, 1949 - July 28, 2019 ) Linda Whittaker Wilson, 69, of Panama City Beach passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center after a lengthy battle with cancer. Linda was born on October 4, 1949 in Donalsonville, GA to the late Pasco Whittaker and Ruby Whittaker McDonald. She was a graduate of Seminole County High School in Donalsonville, GA class of 1966. She received a B.S. in Secretarial Science from Georgia Southwestern College and a Masters in Education from West Georgia College. She was a career educator, having taught in Bainbridge, Albany, and Cordele, GA and Jacksonville, AR, where she retired as Asst. Principal at Jacksonville Southside Jr. High. Linda married Ken Wilson in 1982. They retired to Panama City Beach in 2001, making their home at Bay Point. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Whittaker McDonald of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers: George Whittaker and wife Deborah of Donalsonville, GA and Mark Whittaker and wife Denean of Thomasville, GA; one sister, Lanette Griffin and husband Burt of Sapphire, NC; stepson, Keith Wilson of Sherwood, AR; step daughter, Kathey Walters and husband Ronnie of Cabot, AR; two grandchildren Shane and Kaitlin Walters; and one great grandchild, Ellis Walters. She was preceded in death by her father, Pasco Whittaker; and husband, Ken Wilson. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Southerland Event Center.
