Linda Carter, age 77, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her residence.
No services are being planned at this time.
Mrs. Carter was born in Seneca, SC, on January 24, 1947, to James Daniel Arnold and Helen Frances Lawson Arnold. She was a high school graduate and worked for many years in manufacturing, her last position being with Lockheed in Atlanta, GA. Spending time with her family was important to Mrs. Carter, and she enjoyed planting flowers, however, the thing she enjoyed doing most of all was fishing.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Donald Carter; her children, Gregory Dewayne Houston and Brenda, Vicky Chester and Dennis, Gerald Michael Houston and Melany, Misty Green and Erik, Donald Ray Carter, Jr., Lisa Kay Carter, and Joni Lynn Pullam and Phillip; several grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Lehman.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents, James Daniel Arnold and Helen Frances Lawson Arnold; her siblings, Shirley Arnold, Daniel Arnold, and Lewis Arnold; as well as her son, Joey Gene Houston, Sr.
