LILLIAN WIDNER LOVE

Lillian Vaudine Widner Love, age 100, of Dothan, AL, passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 21, 2023, at her residence.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Love will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Bethel Cemetery in Cedar Springs, GA with Rev. James Hilburn officiating.  Interment will immediately follow the service.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, Oct. 25, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA.

Mrs. Love was born in Colquitt, GA on May 15, 1923, to Dave and Tamer Allen Widner.  She had been involved in agriculture for most of her life and was a homemaker as well.  She was a member of the Church of God faith.  Mrs. Love enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and made them the center of her life. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Geneva Tye of Blakely, GA, Edward Love of Jakin, GA, Janice Wright of Dothan, AL, Eugene Love of Lakeland, FL, Judith Hammack of Bonifay, FL, and Coy Love, Jr. of Jakin, GA; her grandchildren, Frankie Tye and wife Anne, Melvin Tye, Melissa Ourari, Jonathan Love, Tonya Love, Katie Love, Cindy Gray, Bobbie Bradshaw and husband Johnny, Kelley Love, and Rachel Faboy; as well as  13 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Tamer Allen Widner;  her husband, Coy Love; two sisters, Ella Mae Usery and Mary Widner; and a son, Jerome Love.
