KEN STUART

Ken Stuart, age 65, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Stuart will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville with Rev. Scott Messer officiating.  Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, October 23, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Stuart was born in Colquitt, GA on October 28, 1952 to Morris Stuart and Helen Smith Stuart Childers.  He served in the Army National Guard and farmed for a number of years before working with LMC as a parts/service manager, a position from which he retired after 21 years of service. Mr. Stuart served in the late 1980s as chairman of the board for ASCS, assisted with little league softball, was active in the Young Farmers during his farming years and assisted with county steer shows and sheep shows.  He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sara Stuart of Donalsonville, GA; his mother, Helen Childers of Donalsonville, GA; his stepmother, Mary Stuart of Bainbridge, GA; his daughters, Jennifer Whittaker (Mark) of Colquitt, GA and Ashley White (Chad) of Donalsonville, GA; his sister, Yvonne Stuart Duncan of Donalsonville, GA; and his brother, Vic Stuart of Donalsonville, GA.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chelsea Whittaker, Katina Womble and her husband Hunter, Haley Whittaker, Zane White, and Brayden White. Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by his father, Morris “Shine” Stuart; his sister-in-law, Carla Stuart; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob Fiveash and Jeanette Fiveash.
