KATIE TEDDER

Katie Johnson Tedder, age 92, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 2, 2021 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Tedder will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Donalsonville First Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Royals and Rev. Michael Wingertsahn officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery with Rob Blackburn, Robin Blackburn, Keith Bowen, Stan Kennedy, Wade Spooner, and Darius Moss serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church. Mrs. Tedder was born on April 28, 1929 to James Alva Johnson and Essie Lee Moss Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church Donalsonville. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Redgie Tedder of Havanna, FL, Robin Tedder and wife Cathy of Perry, GA, and Lorna Tedder of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Kevin Tedder, Amanda T. Allen, Justus Tedder, Shannon Bailey, and Aislinn Bailey McKenna; her great grandchildren, Elaney Tedder, Caitlin Tedder, Leya Allen, Sadie Allen, and one on the way; and her great great grandchild, Carmen Martinez. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Tedder was preceded in death by her parents, James Alva and Essie Lee Moss Johnson; her husband, Hugh Clarence Tedder, Jr.; and her brother, Harold Johnson.
