JUNE BUCKHAULTER

Alice Faye “June” Buckhaulter, age 73, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services for Ms. Buckhaulter will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Mock officiating.  Interment will follow in Jakin Cemetery with Kale King, Will Pace, Baylor Williams, Russell McCalvin, Ben Horn, Sammy Perkins, and Tracy Pickle serving as active pallbearers.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.  Ms. Buckhaulter was born in Jakin, GA on December 14, 1946 to Russell and Elizabeth Moates George.  She was a registered radiology technician with Donalsonville Hopital retiring after 32 years.  Her main responsibility for years was ultra sounds and her favorite thing to do was to be able to let the parents know the gender of their babies. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Stacie Pickle (Travis) of Colquitt, GA, Micki Williams (Jamie) of Iron City, GA, John Buckhaulter (Amanda) of Donalsonville, GA, and Gina King (Kenny) of Donalsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Kale King (Lindsey), Hali King, Macy Williams, Baylor Williams, and Will Pace; her great grandson, Wyatt Higgins; and her siblings, Brenda Horne, Lucille Horn, and Ray George; as well as a special friend, Mattie Buggs. Ms. Buckhaulter was preceded in death by her grandparents, Brantley and Emma Lee George; her parents, Russell and Elizabeth George; her brother, Kenneth George; and her sister, Pat Erickson.
