JENNIFER HARRIS ARNOLD

Jennifer Harris Arnold, age 46, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, June 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon on June 6, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA officiated by pastor Tim Bell. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 4:00 p.m. at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind. Anyone who wishes to visit with the family before Thursday, may find them at their residence during the day or at the home of Jennifer’s brother, Al Harris, after 5:00 PM.   Jennifer was born in Donalsonville, GA on July 8, 1972 to Bernard and Edith Harris. She graduated in 1990 from Seminole County High School and graduated from Troy University in 1993 with a bachelors in early childhood education. Jennifer married Ron Arnold in 1992 and they had two children, Cas and Emma Chloe Arnold. She was one of the fourteen selected for a fellowship for the blind and attended Florida State University and graduated in 2003 with a masters degree in visual disabilities. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her students and her children. She loved teaching; she loved helping; she loved her friends; and she loved her family. She was loved by many and will surely be missed. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Ron Arnold; their two children, Cas and Emma Chloe; her mother Edith Harris; her sister, Kay Lane of Albany, GA and her husband Eric and their son Matthew; her sister, Becky Harris of San Antonio, TX and Al Harris of Donalsonville, GA and his wife Renee and their children Jordon and Bradley. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Harris.
