Mrs. Jeanne Claire Pearson, age 70, of Blakely, GA passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at her residence. There are no services being planned at this time. Mrs. Pearson was born in Deland, FL on December 22, 1951 to Luther James and Bobby Jean Hemby Bruce. She loved playing zumba games as well as solitaire on her phone. Watching old TV shows was one of her favorite past times although her greatest hobby was spending time with her "favorite" granddaughter Robyn. Mrs. Pearson had a great love for her Bible and loved her memory verses that she quoted often. She retired as a correctional clerk from the Calhoun County Prison after 14 years. Mrs. Pearson was a member of the Church of Christ in Edison, GA. She will always be loved and remembered by her baby brother Jamie; my sister Jeanne will be missed without measure by me. Nothing will ever replace the space in my heart without her. I will keep that space filled with our memories and then she will always be with me in my heart. With much love, her sister Rose. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Julie Shadrick of Blakely, GA. and Brandy Campanozzi (Gerry) of Downworthington Gardens, TX.; her grandchildren, Christina Harper and Robyn Harper both of Blakely, GA., Kyle Harper of Charles City, IA., and Felton Byars of Leesburg, GA.; her sister, Rose Herbst of TX.; and her brother, Jamie Luther Bruce of Ringgold, GA. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her parents, Luther James and Bobby Jean Hemby Bruce.
