JAMES "PATCH" PRICE

James “Patch” Price, age 83, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday morning, August 19, 2021 at his residence. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael Wingertsahn and Dr. Ronny Spillers officiating. Curtis Snell, Dave Fain, Toby Phillips, Melvin Henry, Harvey Weir, and Jerry Miller will serve as pallbearers. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Mr. Price was born July 31, 1938 in Houston County, AL to James Lee Price and Velma Whitlock Price. He owned and operated Seminole Aviation for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, GA. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Glenda Price; his children, Tony Price, Taralee Scarborough, Vance Dowling, and Alan Dowling (Carmen); his grandchildren, Zackary Price (Melissa Pihos), Dustin Stephens, Haley Rykard (Adam), Jessica Vinson (Jake), Carley Dowling, Casey Riddle (Tanner), Tyler Dowling, Mason Dowling, and Shelton Scarborough; as well as 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Hale (Kenneth), Patricia Holley, Tim Price(Julie), and Elaine Rittenhouse. Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Price and Velma Whitlock Price; his daughter, Dawn Price; and his brother, Mike Price. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
