JACKIE BRENDA MILLER SHEFFIELD

Jackie Brenda Miller Sheffield, age 76, of Colquitt, GA passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Sheffield will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating.  Interment will follow in Scarborough Cemetery in Miller County with Stacy Sheffield, Amos Sheffield, Andrew Sheffield, Brad Sheffield, Trey Trawick, and Gene Burke serving as active pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Sheffield was born on December 9, 1941 in Iron City, GA to C.D. and Annie Mae Frasier Miller.  She was a homemaker and member of Colquitt Freewill Baptist Church.  Mrs. Sheffield enjoyed taking care of her hummingbirds and flowers.  Her family was especially important to her and she loved spending time with them, especially her great granddaughter, Harper Grace who was the “Apple of Her Eye”. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert E. Sheffield; her son, Troy L. Sheffield and wife Alicia; her grandsons, Kyle Sheffield and wife Ashley and Drew Sheffield; and her great granddaughter, Harper Grace Sheffield.  Mrs. Sheffield was preceded in death by her parents, C.D. Miller and Annie Mae Frasier Miller. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
