IMOGENE "JEAN" KNIGHT McCRACKEN SNELLGROVE

Imogene "Jean" Knight McCracken Snellgrove, age 81, formerly of Iron City, GA passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 in Longwood, FL. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Snellgrove was born in Early County, GA on October 24, 1938 to Hayne and Annie Mae Chandler Knight. She was a teacher and the mail lady of Iron City. Mrs. Snellgrove was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Donalsonville and was a long time resident of Lisenby Retirement Home in Panama City, FL. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Tracy McCracken and Gina and Kathy Rentz and Garrett, as well as Miranda Roberts and John; her grandchildren, Trevor McCracken, Braden Rentz, and Riley Farish; her brother, Thomas Knight; and her nephew, Steven Knight. Mrs. Snellgrove was preceded in death by her parents, Hayne and Annie Mae Chandler Knight; her husbands, Dan McCracken and Wille Joe Snellgrove; her brother, Paul Knight; her sister, Catherine Knight; and close friends, Sandra Cross, Paula Baker, and Beulah Frasier.
