HUBERT HAMMOND TOUCHTON

Hubert H. Touchton, age 71, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday evening, January 18, 2022 at his residence. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday morning, Jan. 22, 2022 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The family will hold a private memorial service afterwards. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Mr. Touchton was born in Pavo, GA on Jan. 8, 1951 and served his country in the United States Navy before being self-employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting and reading. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Nicki Mathis and Andy of Iron City, GA, Spence Touchton and Kathryn of Iron City, GA, Blaine Touchton and Nicole of Donalsonville, GA, Clint Touchton and Jenna of Marianna, FL, Clayton Touchton of Tallahassee, FL, and Johnny Touchton and Ashlyn of Marianna, FL; and his sister, Martha Humphries of Waycross, GA. Mr. Touchton is also survived by his grandchildren, Meg Mathis, Makinnon Touchton, Kade Touchton, Tanner Trawick, Bella Touchton, Lyndon Touchton, Ellis Touchton, and Blakely Touchton on the way, as well as several nieces and nephews.
