HAROLD HARDAGE

April 3, 1930 — December 5, 2020

Harold Hardage, age 90, of Colquitt, GA passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at his residence. A private graveside service for Mr. Hardage will be held at Upson Memorial Gardens in Thomaston, GA on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will immediately follow the services. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to The First Church of the Nazarene Music Department PO Box 446 Donalsonville, GA 39845. Mr. Hardage was born in Yatesville, GA on April 3, 1930 to L.H. Hardage, Sr. and Ida Mae Corley Hardage. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from Federal Paper Board Company. Mr. Hardage was an avid gardener and loved singing and playing the piano. He had been a member of several singing groups, most notably The Dixie Quartet. Mr. Hardage also loved animals, but most importantly, he loved the Lord and his family. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Toni Hardage of Colquitt, GA; his daughter, Renee Shingler and her husband Ronny of Cedar Springs, GA; his grandchildren, Rachael Holloman and her husband Tommy of Cedar Springs, GA and Dr. Ryan Shingler and his wife Katy of Jakin, GA; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Aubrey Holloman and Reed and Avery Shingler. Mr. Hardage is also survived by his stepchildren, Jackie Broome and her husband Brantley of Donalsonville, GA and Wendy Stone of Dallas, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Hardage was preceded in death by his parents, L.H. Hardage, Sr. and Ida Mae Corley Hardage; Runell Helms Hardage; and his siblings.
