Delores Gail McDaniel Forshee, age 72, of Brinson, GA, passed away Wednesday evening, March 13, 2024, at her daughter's residence in Dothan, AL.
Funeral services for Mrs. Forshee will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery with Jobst Elster, Justin Mobley, Cameron Walker, Doug Walker, Scott Thomason, and Bobby Smith serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel at 1:00 PM.
Mrs. Forshee was born in Quincy, FL on November 4, 1951, to Marvin Earl and Lucy Lee McDaniel. She graduated from James A. Shanks High School in Quincy FL and later went on to work as a receptionist with The Florida Bar. She loved going to the beach, and her life centered around her family, whom she loved very deeply. Oftentimes, you could find her in the kitchen, baking.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Melissa Walker, JoAnna Forshee (Jobst Elster), Alaina Forshee (Justin Mobley), and Joby Forshee Charlea); her siblings, Ray and Joyce McDaniel, Ricky and Robin McDaniel, and Ronny McDaniel; as well as her grandchildren, Brandy and Cameron Walker, Ethan, Rylan, Madeline, Emmaline, and Katarina Mobley, and Jaye, Rayleigh, and Carter Forshee. Several nephews and nieces also survive.
Mrs. Forshee was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Earl and Lucy Lee McDaniel, and her husband, Joseph B. Forshee III.
