FRANCES WHITAKER NORTH

Frances Whitaker North, age 72, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday evening, April 11, 2022 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Graveside services for Mrs. North will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Roberts and Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. Also, the family will be gathering at the home of Mrs. North’s sister, Becky Breckenridge. Mrs. North was born in Donalsonville, GA on Dec. 2, 1949 to James Otis and Ruby Jewel Smith Whitaker. She was a homemaker and attended Jakin Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. North enjoyed traveling when she could. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles “Buddy” North; her sons, Charles Edward North, Jr. and Victor North and his wife Heather; her grandchildren, Anthony North, Tristan North, Abby North, Isabell Whitman, Emmie North, James Victor North, Jr., Austin North, and Courtney North; her sister, Becky Breckenridge; her brothers, James Whitaker and wife Alice, Harry Whitaker and wife Linda, and Philip Whitaker and wife Darlene; her sister-in-law, Kaye Whitaker; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. North was preceded in death by her parents, James Otis and Ruby Jewel Smith Whitaker and a brother, Raymond Whitaker.
