FOY LEE "BUDDY" COX, JR.

Foy Lee “Buddy” Cox, Jr., age 87, of Donalsonville, GA and formerly of Bainbridge, GA passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Cox will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Brinson City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Mr. Cox was born August 15, 1931 to Foy Lee Cox, Sr. and Mattie Lou Lewis Cox.  He was a machinist and worked for many years with Flint River Electric before his retirement.  He was of the Baptist Faith. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Ann Nezarati and husband Mike of North Augusta, SC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents, Foy Lee Cox, Sr. and Mattie Lou Lewis Cox; his wife, Mary Hand Cox; and his sister, Nadine Easom Carter.
