Emma Rogers

Emma Edna Houston Rogers, age 94, of Donalsonville, GA passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA.

Funeral service for Mrs. Rogers will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Rocky Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Massey officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Houston Cemetery with Keith Bowen, Emerson Skipper, Kenneth Massey, Russell Lewis, and Scott Cole serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Rogers was born in Blakely, GA on August 11, 1930 to Auburn Dewey Houston and Tempie Bell Bridges Houston. Mrs. Rogers retired from S & C Electric where she was a punch press operator.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Cathy Knight; her grandsons, Andrew Thomas Knight and Daniel James Knight; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special caregivers/niece and nephew, Glenda Money and Tommy Houston.

Mrs. Rogers was preceded by her parents, Auburn Dewey Houston and Tempie Bell Bridges Houston; her husband, Lowell Rogers; her brothers, George Houston, Charles Houston, James Houston and Walter Jack Houston; and her sister, Lera Cole.
