Elisabeth Anne Carver Coirini, age 84, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday afternoon, June 1, 2018 at her residence. Graveside services for Mrs. Coirini will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery 1306 Whitlock Ave NW Marietta, GA 30064 with Rev. Garth Duke-Barton officiating and Castellaw Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Interment will immediately follow the service with her grandsons, Andrew Pleak, Ben Pleak, Trey Coirini, Jake Carver, Chip Sanders, and Thomas Vines serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, June 3, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Joyce’s Jog PO Box 4512 Donalsonville, GA 39845. Mrs. Coirini was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 8, 1933 to Harry Swentzel Carver and Elisabeth Steffey Biggs Carver. She graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in English and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. While her children were in school, Mrs. Coirini was very involved in PTA even on the statewide level. She enjoyed playing tennis, gardening and shopping. Mrs. Coirini was a member of the Seminole County Public Library Book Club and of Friendship United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Lib Bridges/Agnes Moseley Circle. She loved her family and her greatest joy was spending time with them as the matriarch of "Crab Haven" her home on St. Simons Island. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Susan Pleak (David) of Marietta, GA, Emilio Coirini, Jr. (Christine) of Marietta, GA, and Steffey Vines (David) of Donalsonville, GA; her sister-in-law, Betty Carver of Potomac Falls, VA; and her grandchildren, Andrew Pleak, Ben Pleak, Trey Coirini, Abby Coirini, Madison Degiuli, Allison Degiuli, Grant Dejiuli, Chip Sanders, and Thomas Vines. Mrs. Coirini is also survived by her nephews, Harry Carver (Trudi), John Carver (Nancy), and Les Carver (Biz); as well as her great nieces and nephews, Brooke Carver, Jake Carver (Blair), Zach Carver, Bailey Carver, Sophie Carver, Jack Carver, and Caroline Carver. Mrs. Coirini was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Swentzel Carver and Elisabeth Steffey Biggs Carver; her husband Emilio Coirini, Sr; her brother, Harry Carver; and her daughter, LisAnne Coirini.
