DORIS CLENNEY MCCALL WATSON

December 22, 1966 — July 20, 2022

Doris Clenney McCall Watson, age 55, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Wednesday morning, July 20, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Watson will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Laddie DeRocco officiating. Interment will follow in Thursby Cemetery with Lindsey Merritt, Rick McCall, Jim Clenney, Jon McCall, Daniel Taylor, and Chandler Hinton serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mrs. Watson was born in Donalsonville, GA on Dec. 22, 1966 to Willie Duncan Clenney and Mary Givens Clenney. She worked for many years as a cook and head chef, having retired from Boyd's Bar-Be-Que in Bainbridge, GA. Everything she cooked was wonderful and she loved cooking for a house full of family and friends. She loved watching NASCAR and enjoyed growing plants. Mrs. Watson adored her grandchildren and truly believed and would let you know that they "could do no wrong". She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Macy Toliver and Anthony of Bainbridge, GA; her son, Mac McCall and Sarah of Sylvester, GA; her grandchildren, Mason Toliver, Jayden Toliver, Candice Toliver, Eason Toliver, Louis McCall, and Camy McCall; and her mother, Mary Clenney of Cedar Springs, GA. Also surviving are her sisters, Darlene Chance and Ed of Donalsonville, GA and Rose McCall and Ricky of Phenix City, AL; her brothers, Jimmy Clenney and Susan of New York, Wayne Clenney and Brenda of Colquitt, GA, Glenn Clenney and Jackie of Cedar Springs, GA, and Lynn Ezell and Roger of Cairo, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stacy "Chrome" Watson; her father, W.D. Clenney; and her brother, Michael Clenney.
