DONALD OWEN MIZELL

Donald Owen Mizell, age 72, of Webb, AL passed away Monday evening, Sept. 2, 2019 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at 2:00 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Minister Phillip Durr officiating.  Mr. Mizell was born in Belle Glade, FL on June 28, 1947 to George Carr Mizell and Winifred Hill Mizell.  He served his country in the United States Army and was a heavy equipment operator for Ellenburg Construction Company before retiring in 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Eleanor Mizell, Melissa Mizell, and Phillip Mizell; his siblings, Bill Mizell and Julie of Niceville, FL, Jim Mizell of Meridian, KS, Brenda Godby and Lewis of Donalsonville, GA, Phillip Mizell of Smiths Station, AL; two grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Mizell was preceded in death by his parents, George Carr Mizell and Winifred Hill Mizell; his brother, Danny Mizell; and his sister, Maureen Johnson.
