DAVID GRAHAM MARSHALL

DONALSONVILLE

David Graham Marshall, age 67, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, Sept. 10, 2024, at Graceville Health and Rehab in Graceville, FL.

Funeral services for Mr. Marshall will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Lynn Family Cemetery with Robert Dukes, Andy Dukes, Aaron Dukes, Paul Shattles, Roy Rogers, and Eric Davis serving as active pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Marshall was born in Norfolk, VA, on Sept. 13, 1956, to William Coleman and Helen Graham Marshall. He grew up in Stone Mountain, GA and was a 1975 graduate of Tucker High School. He attended Valdosta State College and DeKalb Junior College and held an Associates Degree in Management.  Mr. Marshall was a trucking contractor for many years and worked for Alapaha Transport after selling his business. He was a member of Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church.  He was a hard worker who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kathy Marshall of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Jessica Clevenger and husband Tom of Nashville, TN and Jake Marshall of Donalsonville, GA; two brothers, Robby Marshall and wife Anna of Seneca, SC and Scott Marshall and wife Tina of Newnan, GA; and two grandchildren, Delilah Clevenger and Stella Clevenger.  Also surviving are his sisters-in-law, Ellen Ingram of Montgomery , AL and Carolyn Hogsed of Lawrenceville, GA, as well as several nephews and nieces.

Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, William Coleman and Helen Graham Marshall.
