On December 15, 2022, Dale Roger Brown passed away at Magnolia Manor East in Columbus, Georgia, at the age of 83. Dale’s Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 2pm at Salem Seminole Baptist Church, with visitation before the service at 1pm. Burial will follow the service in the Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery with David Brown, Tommy Wright, Jared Brown, Brett Wright, Dylan Wright, and Patrick Brown serving as active pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem Seminole Baptist Church- 6584 Highway 374, Donalsonville, Georgia 39845. Dale was born to Foy Parker and Eloise Faircloth Brown on August 25, 1939, in Donalsonville, Georgia. He attended FDR and Seminole County High School; later serving in the Army Reserve and drafted into the Army. He eventually moved to Columbus, where he started Alaga Paint Company in 1967, completing projects all over the southeast. Hunting, fishing and spending time on his farm were his favorite things to do. Dale married his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Jimmie Lee Brown who survives him. He leaves behind his children, Belinda Karen Wright (Tommy) and David Michael Brown (Darlene); along with his grandchildren, Chelsea Hardy (Hunter), Brett Wright (Lindsey), Dylan Wright, Erica Munoz (Luis), Jared Brown (Elizabeth) and Megan Yon (Payne); as well as his great-grandchildren, Savannah, Tatum, Jackson, Parker, Laila, Christian, Adam, Maylyn and Jordyn; and his precious dog, Ace. Dale is survived by his sister, Nancy Barbree (Hilton) and his brother, Steve Brown (Doris). He was preceded in death by his parents, Foy and Eloise Brown; and two brothers, Wesley Brown and Robin Brown.
