Charles Stacy “Chrome” Watson, age 57, of Sylvester, GA passed away Wednesday morning, June 23, 2021 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating with interment to follow at Thursby Family Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Clenney, Wayne Clenney, Kyle Elmore, Glenn Clenney, Terry Watson, Christopher Smith, Roger Ezell, Lindsey Merritt, Newman Cloud, Chandler Hinton, Adolph Casal, and Rick McCall. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the the service. Mr. Watson was born in Bainbridge, GA on August 5, 1963 to William Tracy Watson and Rebecca Thursby Watson. He was a contractor and enjoyed netting, fishing, and lived his life to the fullest. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Rebecca Watson of Bainbridge, GA; his wife, Doris Watson of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Mac McCall and wife Sarah of Sylvester, GA; his daughter, Macy Toliver and husband Anthony of Bainbridge, GA; his sisters, Dede Casal and husband Adolph of Atlanta, GA and Kristie Hinton of Donalsonville, GA; and his brother, Terry Watson of Atlanta, GA. Mr. Watson is also survived by his grandchildren, Mason Toliver, Jayden Toliver, Candice Toliver, Eason Toliver, Camy McCall, and Louis McCall; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his father, Tracy Watson; his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Alice Thursby; and his brother-in-law, Robert Hinton.
