Charles Owen Mathis, Jr., age 61, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday afternoon, April 24, 2020 at his residence. No services are being held at this time. Mr. Mathis was born in California on March 29, 1959.He served his country in the United States Army and worked for Fred’s retail store. He is survived by his wife, Samantha Marshall Mathis of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Sabrina Mitchell, Amanda Logsdon, and Charles D.“Chip” Mathis III; his brother, Darryl D. Mathis and his sister, SaraLynn D. Mathis; 5 grandsons, Gavin McNerney, Ricky Sewell, Shawn Mitchell, Christian Linares, and Daniel Linares; and his step-son, Justin Marshall. Arrangements are entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
