Calista "Faye" Glass Baker, age 82, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 13, 2022, at her residence. Graveside services for Mrs. Baker will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Friendship Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Chapman officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service with Trent Cleveland, Johnny Ray Shirley, Corey Mercer, Ryan Welch, Mark Hawkins, and Duane Hawkins serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer 200 W. 10th Street Donalsonville, GA 39845. Mrs. Baker was born in Jakin, GA on July 24, 1940, to James Ira and Bronnie Miller Glass. She was a homemaker and member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Baker loved sewing and adored her family. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Sammy Joe Baker, her children, Gloria Williams and husband Anthony, Sandra Harden and husband Wayne, and Steve Baker and wife Deanna; her grandchildren, Justin Williams, Roxanne Hyde and husband Jeremy, Gracie Baker, Corey Tedder, Kayla Whitley and husband Chris, Brandon Tedder and wife Colleen, and Cain Tedder; and her great-grandchildren, Mya Vickers, Levi Vickers, Mckenna Whitley, Madison Whitley, Laila Whitley, Waylon Whitley, Willin Whitley, and Letty Whitley. Also surviving are a brother, Arthur Glass and his wife Ann; a sister-in-law, Jane Glass; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents, James Ira and Bronnie Miller Glass; two brothers, Earl Glass and Ralph Glass; a sister, Joyce Albritton; a son, Joey Baker; and two grandsons, Allen Williams and Dylan Harden.
