BOBBY GOODWIN

Bobby Oral Goodwin, age 89, of Brinson, GA, passed away Monday afternoon, Dec. 23, 2024, at Bainbridge Memorial Manor in Bainbridge, GA.

 Graveside services for Mr. Goodwin will be held on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Assembly of God Cemetery with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service.

 Mr. Goodwin was born in Donalsonville, GA on July 19, 1935, to Oral and Dora Merkison Goodwin. He was a forklift operator, having retired from Miller Brewing Company. Mr. Goodwin loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed doing most anything as long as it involved eating. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.

 He leaves to cherish his memory, his grandchildren, Matthew Goodwin of Alaska, Jason Goodwin of Albany, GA, and Heather Goodwin of Albany, GA; his special caregivers/cousins, Larry Harrell of Brinson, GA, Nora Day of Bainbridge, GA, Joy Cook of Bainbridge, GA, and Karen Brown of Brinson, GA; several other cousins also survive.

 Mr. Goodwin was preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Dora Merkison Goodwin; his wife, Jeaneva McDowell Goodwin; and his sons, Darrell Goodwin and Stacy Goodwin.
