BETTY ROMINE

Betty Romine, age 93, of Dothan, AL, formerly of Donalsonville, GA passed away April 13, 2021 at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle in Dothan, AL. Mrs. Romine was born on March 9, 1928 in Garrett IN to Earnest Hutton and Joyce Rennecker Hutton. She worked for Crosby Boat Company and then went to work as a medical insurance clerk until her retirement. She was also a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA. She is survived by her son, Steve Romine of Woodbine, GA; nephews, Larry Keys (Judy) and Teddy Keys (Kathy); and a cousin, Will Rennecker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Hutton and Joyce Rennecker Hutton; her husband, Don Romine; and her sister, Irma Keys. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. A memorial service will also be held later date. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, mask are asked to be worn and safe social distancing to be practiced. In lieu of flowers contributions are asked to be made to the MANA Food Drop at Friendship United Methodist Church, 201 E 3rd St, Donalsonville, GA 39845 or to Vashti Center, 1815 E Clay St, Thomasville, GA 31792.
