Betty Holley

Betty Doris Neal Holley, age 87, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 1, 2021 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Holley will be held on Saturday afternoon, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene of Donalsonville with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship with Jacob Holley, III, M.D., Eric Holley, Grant Zachary, M.D., Jerry Turner, Lindsey, Gross, and Brad Bell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will by Michael Payne, Jr., Jason DeWese, Heath Collins, Brody Holley, Clay Woolfork, Marcus Holley, and Charle O. Walker, M.D. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Holley was born in Dearing, GA on November 8, 1934 to Alvin Neal and Louise Adams Neal. She was the medical business manager at the family’s medical office. She started the Betty Neal Holley Scholarship and she was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Donalsonville. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Rhonda Payne, Brenda Turner (Jerry), Jacob H. Holley, Jr. (Linda), Jeffrey Holley, M.D., Betsy Gross (Lindsey), and Joy Bell (Brad); her grandchildren, Kristen DeWese, D.O. (Jason), Michael Payne, Nicole Collins (Heath), Grant Zachary, M.D. (Mary), Betty Holley Zachary, Jacob Holley, III, M.D. (Catlynn), Eric Holley, Brody Holley, Caroline DuBose, Elizabeth DuBose, Belinda Bell, Rebecca Bell, and Hillary Bell; and her great grandchildren, Kevin Michael Payne, III, Matthew DeWese, Emma Claire DeWese, Lorelei Collins, Alex Michaela Collins and Lynnly Grayce Holley. Mrs. Holley was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Neal and Louise Adams Neal and her husband, Jacob H. Holley, M.D., and a son-in-law, Kevin Payne. Flower will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
